Introduces key concepts and background on outsourcing for technical teams and individuals who will work directly with an outsourcing company. Course covers operational and project management content along with techniques on how to manage projects through 3rd parties with different time zones and cultures.

BCT-03: Creating Effective Contract Terms and Labor Rate Structures

Provides an in-depth look at creating a Master Services Agreement and what features should be included in an outsourcing contract. Course covers terms that give business advantage to companies and strategy / structure of labor rates.

BCT-04: Managing Outsourced Projects Successfully

Provides optimal models for team structures for various work functions and operational models for initiating and managing projects in an outsourced environment. Course covers project management techniques, meeting frequency and issue identification, tracking, and resolution, and measurement techniques for service performance level compliance.

BCT-05: Metrics Development

Detailed information on the value and purpose of metrics in an outsourcing program. Course covers how to develop effective metrics, processes for gathering information, and responsibilities of personnel in the metrics development. Course includes a portfolio of metrics that can be modified for future use.
